Feedback from past mentees and mentors
‘The mentoring program has been invaluable—it helped me narrow my focus within this broad field…It highlighted for me how valuable it is to have someone to share ideas with. Even with systems in place, it’s still challenging for those new to the field or transitioning into different roles. Having a mentor to offer guidance can make a huge difference. I truly think it’s a big advantage.’
‘The mentoring relationship was a very positive experience for me; the highlight was being a resource for my mentees, offering support and advice to help them on their professional journey. I was impressed with how the program matched us so well.’
‘I gleaned so much valuable experience just by conversations with my mentor, particularly in terms of managing stress in a high functioning role.’
‘Having another person suggest a different way of approaching a situation has enabled me to see I have already pivoted from reactive to proactive – I just hadn’t recognised it.’
